August 2019 Newsletter

Distinguished Ambassador,

You did represent the Gospel of Christ well and continue to do so in the face of trying circumstances. Like Habakkuk, you have learnt to make progress from succumbing  to complaints about the divine wisdom in the face of seeming contradictions, to full confidence in God’s sovereign power to make all things work together for good. You are truly a model of those “who through faith and patience inherit the promise”. May you remain a faithful Gospel ambassador you were called to be. We thank God for your life and ministry to the unreached people groups like the Teke, Hoima, etc..

We have just concluded a week’s training on HTML, WordPress,CSS, etc in the international office in Abuja. The result will be a new ministry website that will soon be launched. With competencies acquired our staff member  will be able, with limited supervision, to monitor, upload information and chat with guests on our webpage

The website has become more secured for your online chats and  donations. Apart from Paypal other online payment platforms will soon be added to provide more options to our faithful partners.Your support gives  the gospel we preach the wheel it needs to move from community to commuity. Thank you for your faithfulness,

See What the Lord has done!

Short term mission team in Pointe Noire concluded their evangelistic and discipleship outreach with appeal from the target population  for a Centre where they can receive further training in the Word of God.

You prayed and in answer to your prayers, a new Centre for discipleship and missions was established in Congo July 28 with more than 12 trainees. Praise God!  Kindly pray for each of these trainees to have both funds and focus to complete his/her course of studies

Another Session of training for Church planters was recently concluded in Bangui, CAR. This session recorded one of the largest participation  in recent times. Many have abandoned earthly wealth and committed to raising new congregations of believers in many hard places despite the protracted insecurity in CAR.Please pray for them.

Fuel for your Fire!

This year’s International Missions conference holds in Gbadolite, D. R. Congo. It will be the first to be held in this beautiful city accessible by air through Kinshasa. Conference budget is more than 20% more than what was needed for the previous conferences. We have limited  facilities on the ground to host such big conference, with delegates from South Sudan, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, etc. and cost of living that has sky- rocketed. We need $28,000 and with your participation, it shall be fully paid for. Please pray and donate.

To cover this $28,000  budget for the conference, a special appeal is hereby made praying the Lord to release all the funding we need to cover transportation, Media, Publicity, and ICT, accommodation and feeding of delegates. Other expenditure subheads include gifts to missionaries, health and medical screening for missionaries and their families, and air tickets/bus fares to assist some delegates based on expressed need. Details will soon be forwarded to you for your prayerful financial participation.
